*Ingredients:*
- 1 kg boneless chicken breast or thighs
- 1/2 cup mustard oil or vegetable oil
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 2-3 green chilies, chopped
- 2 teaspoons ginger paste
- 2 teaspoons garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
- Salt, to taste
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
*Instructions:*
1. Heat oil in a large tawa or frying pan over medium-high heat.
2. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
3. Add chopped onions and sauté until they're translucent.
4. Add chopped tomatoes, green chilies, ginger paste, and garlic paste. Sauté until the tomatoes are soft.
5. Add the chicken and cook until it's browned on all sides.
6. Add coriander powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder, and salt. Mix well.
7. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook, covered, until the chicken is cooked through.
8. Stir in lemon juice and garnish with fresh cilantro.
9. Serve hot with naan, rice, or roti.
