Chinese Macroni
A popular Chinese-inspired dish! Here's a simple recipe for Chinese Macaroni:
Ingredient
- 1 cup macaroni
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (e.g., peas, carrots, corn)
- 1 cup cooked chicken or beef, diced
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Scallions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic and stir-fry until softened.
4. Add mixed vegetables and cooked meat, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
5. Add cooked macaroni, soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), and sesame oil. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Garnish with chopped scallions and serve hot.
