Alsi Laddu (Flaxseed Laddu)
*Ingredients:*
- 1 cup flaxseeds (alsi)
- 1 cup wheat flour
- 1/2 cup ghee (clarified butter)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

*Instructions:*
1. Dry roast the flaxseeds in a pan over medium heat, stirring frequently, until they are lightly browned and fragrant.
2. Grind the roasted flaxseeds into a coarse powder using a blender or food processor.
3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground flaxseeds, wheat flour, and powdered sugar.
4. Heat the ghee in a pan over low heat. Add the ground cardamom and nutmeg, and stir well.
5. Pour the ghee mixture over the flaxseed mixture, and mix well until everything is well combined.
6. Grease your hands with a little ghee, and shape the mixture into small balls or laddus.
7. Garnish with chopped nuts or dried fruits, if desired.
